However, Cotton Jersey differs from other kinds of cotton due to its’ spandex content, which allows the fabric to stretch 50% vertically and 25% horizontally. Cotton Jersey fabric is knit in a single or standard knit style, meaning that the fabric has two different sides, a ribbed or striped face, and a smooth back; both sides being extremally soft in texture.
